We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our cutting-edge robotics software engineering organization. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping ambitious programs and ensuring their success, working side-by-side with world-class researchers and engineers.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with top-tier experts across robotics research, applied science, software, and hardware engineering to align their efforts toward a unified vision.
- Partner with engineering leads to turn visionary research milestones into actionable technical roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
- Adapt program management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) to suit the needs of our dynamic research programs, ensuring maximum efficiency and progress.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment
- Provide clear and effective communications to stakeholders on program status, risks, and accomplishments, facilitating smooth execution at every stage.
- Stay hands-on with our robotics software stack and development lifecycle to coordinate cross-functional collaboration, define requirements, and drive technical decisions.
- Help improve organizational processes, identify risks, and boost metrics and performance pipelines to ensure timely and successful project completion.
What We’re Looking For:
- MS in Robotics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience across robotics, software engineering, and program management—autonomous systems experience is a big plus!
- Deep understanding of robotics stack fundamentals, including perception, motion planning & Controls, and mapping and Localization.
- Proven success in leading complex software/hardware integrations and driving cross-functional programs from inception to delivery.
- Experience thriving in early-stage startup environments, where ambiguity is the norm and collaboration drives innovation.
- Proficiency in project management tools (like Jira), Ubuntu, Linux, and version control systems like Git.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to seamlessly collaborate with research teams and translate complex technical details into clear, actionable insights.
