The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $111,000 - $170,200 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What you Will do in This Role:

• Build elegant solutions for some of the most complex material handling and logistics projects in the world
• Deliver large, impactful, and meaningful enterprise projects while working in a small, forward-thinking, and flexible start-up environment
• Guides very complex design, maintenance, improvement, testing, implementation, and support of software.
• Leads the development of software test requirements for highly complex modules under development, implements highly complex test specifications.
• Guides reviews of customers' standards specification and other documentation to resolve software engineering requirements.
• Develops presentations of technical findings and developments.
• Guides the software quality process through the execution of very complex module, subsystem and system test procedures.
• Coaches and mentors experienced developers; Leadership skills and role model qualities proven.
• Contributes to improvement of internal processes to drive consistency, efficiency and quality
• Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes.
• Display original thinking in applying principles, theories, and concepts on a wide range of problems.
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge in subject areas of specialization or multiple teams to successfully complete complex assignments.
• Optimally serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise.
• Collaborates with intra-organizational contacts and external contacts.
• Travel across North America to customer sites to validate system functionality and testing (approximately 20%)

What We are Looking For:

• BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science (or other Engineering Degree)
• 8-10+ Years software development experience
• 3+ Years automation or material handling industry experience
• Advanced knowledge in minimum of 2 object-oriented languages, including Java EE
• Proficient in at least 1 other language
• Intermediate knowledge of at least 2 operating systems
• 2 industry standard certifications
• Advanced knowledge of minimum 1 Dematic Software Application (Internal)
