- Design water and wastewater infrastructure in compliance with municipal, state, and federal standards.
- Prepare and file permitting documentation with appropriate regulatory bodies.
- Perform hydraulic and process calculations to determine proper equipment sizing and selection.
- Carry out hydraulic modeling for water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
- Direct feasibility studies and engineering assessments for water and wastewater projects.
- Create comprehensive construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Support construction activities by reviewing contractor submissions, addressing RFIs, processing pay applications, and facilitating project meetings.
- Manage the construction and installation of water and wastewater facilities.
- Conduct studies related to user rates and tapping fees.
- Draft project proposals, including detailed scopes of work and fee structures.
