View

Serenity Mental Health Centers runs outpatient psychiatric clinics in 29 locations across multiple states, delivering advanced treatments for difficult-to-treat mental health conditions. Its main services are transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), ketamine therapy (esketamine/Spravato), and medication management, provided in a comfortable spa-like setting. It differentiates itself by offering TMS for non-depression conditions and by focusing on personalized interventional psychiatry with reported high treatment response and remission rates. The goal is to broaden access to these therapies and expand the multi-state network to help more patients.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Serenity opened Alexandria in June 2026 and planned Leesburg soon after.
  • Florida Blue joined its insurance network in February 2026, improving patient access.
  • The company reached 35 locations by mid-2026, showing sustained multi-state expansion.

What critics are saying

  • BBB logged 15 complaints in three years, signaling service and billing friction.
  • Payer reimbursement controls economics; tighter insurer coverage would squeeze expansion fast.
  • Consumer psychology clinics face heavy commoditization; Serenity's national visibility spend won't create durable moats.

What makes Serenity Mental Health Centers unique

  • Serenity bundles TMS, ketamine infusion, and psychiatry under one outpatient roof.
  • It sells TMS beyond depression, targeting OCD, PTSD, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
  • Its spa-like clinics and TMS-plus-ketamine protocol create a distinct consumer experience.
