About the Role:

Sardine is looking for a world-class Senior AML Analyst to join our team of talented compliance professionals. We are seeking someone to lead AML analytics and help to set a strategic, long-term vision for compliance, partnering cross-functionally across Sardine and representing Sardine’s compliance functions with partners, regulators, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have deep AML expertise within the crypto space, direct experience working with product teams, and is not afraid to take thoughtful risks.

You will:

• Be the point of contact for escalations, investigations, and overall AML support

• Perform analysis on industry trends, attack vectors, and emerging typologies within the crypto/NFT space

• Monitor and review red flags, perform enhanced due diligence when necessary

• Conduct investigations and disposition on cases that require compliance review

• Keep up-to-date with crypto trends to stay abreast of emerging risk

• Perform analysis on AML trends, and implement rules to detect/monitor high-risk activity

• Help streamline and optimize AML processes

An ideal candidate has:

• Strong SQL skills and ability to leverage large data sets as part of an investigations process

• 5+ years experience in AML investigations with a minimum of 2 years directly involved in blockchain investigations

• Experience working with product, engineering, legal, and other cross-functional teams

• Highly flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of a high-growth, fast-paced organization

• CAMS or similar certification

Base Comp Range: $120k - $140k/year
