Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years experience in B2B marketing, preferably at a small/medium tech company, auto industry experience a plus.
  • Marketing Knowledge: A strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, with the ability to align campaign strategy with overall business objectives.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and develop effective demand generation plans that align with business objectives and drive results.
  • Initiative and Drive: Ability to proactively come up with creative campaign ideas that resonate with the target audience, seeking continuous performance improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal presentation and written communications skills to be able to convey results, insights and recommendations to key partners and leadership.
  • Data Analytics: Proficiency/aptitude in using data analytics tools (Looker, Salesforce, Google Analytics) and marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred) to analyze performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with marketing technology tools, such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools. Marketo and Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Copywriting: Ability to write and edit compelling marketing campaign copy, including subject lines, body text, and calls to action (CTAs).
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to execute and manage marketing campaigns effectively, balancing multiple tasks, deadlines and projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in tracking campaign data and ensuring all elements of a campaign are executed correctly.
  • Ability to execute with limited direction and oversight and can proactively identify and raise concerns or solutions with the team.
  • Ideal candidate is preferably located in Dublin and can participate in a hybrid office environment while building relationships with the Sales team, but we are open to someone based in the UK if they are willing to travel to Dublin frequently!
Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Translate the UK business strategy into campaign plans, including selecting appropriate channels and tactics to achieve business and campaign goals.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns through various marketing channels, including email, on-site merchandising, direct mail, paid display and social to grow revenue or reduce churn in the UK, primarily; secondarily, support execution and best practices for Canada demand generation campaigns.
  • Campaign Optimization: Continuously improve emails, ads and landing pages utilizing marketing automation tools and data analytics to optimize campaign performance.
  • Testing and Measurement: Analyze marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, including A/B testing, report building and analysis, and communicate the results and data-driven decisions to key stakeholders
  • Segmentation and Targeting: Utilize audience segmentation and targeting strategies to reach the right audience with personalized messaging based on demographic, performance and behavior data.
  • Event support: Help with the coordination and in-day execution of sales events, in partnership with the CarGurus events team.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, such as Sales, Product Marketing, and Business Operations to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget allocated for demand generation and retention programs and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to inform demand generation and customer retention strategies.

CarGurus shares jump 19% after Q4 revenue beats expectations at $241M

CarGurus reported Q4 revenues of $241.1 million, up 14.7% year-on-year, exceeding analyst expectations by 0.8%. The automotive marketplace delivered mixed results, with next quarter's revenue guidance topping expectations but EBITDA guidance falling short. CEO Jason Trevisan called 2025 "a pivotal year" as the company expanded products across dealer workflows and consumer journeys whilst delivering strong financial performance. The stock has risen 19.3% since reporting and currently trades at $34.85. Amongst 12 tracked online marketplace stocks, Q4 results were mixed overall. Revenues beat consensus estimates by 1.5%, whilst next quarter's guidance was in line. Share prices have increased 3.1% on average since earnings. eBay posted the strongest quarter with revenues of $2.97 billion, up 15% year-on-year.

CarGurus has raised its profile amongst auto marketplace competitors by divesting unprofitable operations whilst monetising AI-powered dealer tools that demonstrably improve customer results. The stock is up 12.4% since its fourth-quarter earnings report, outperforming the SPY index which dropped 2.11% over the same period. The company completed the wind-down of CarOffer, its struggling wholesale vehicle transactions business, on 31 December 2025. Full-year 2025 gross profit reached $841.5 million, up nearly 14% year-over-year, whilst free cash flow hit $265.96 million, up 47.49%. CarGurus' AI-powered inventory pricing tool, PriceVantage, showed early adopters achieving five times faster vehicle turn times and a 71% increase in daily shopper connections. Total paying dealers reached 34,409 in fourth quarter, up 7% year-over-year.

CarGurus reports 14% revenue growth to $907M, adds 1,357 US dealers in record expansion

CarGurus reported 14% annual revenue growth to $907 million for 2025, driven by record dealer network expansion. The company added 1,357 paying US dealers and achieved a 14% increase in international accounts. Fourth-quarter revenue reached $241.09 million, up 5.49% year-over-year. International revenue surged 32% in the quarter, whilst the company launched new products to enhance dealer workflows and consumer digital capabilities.
