INTERNAL: Stipend Position

We are seeking teachers in grades K1-G5 for Spring/Summer work to transfer our ESL curriculum to Unified Classroom Curriculum & Instruction (UCCI), part of PowerSchool's educational platform.  Interested teachers will be responsible for using the current ESL curriculum to build unit plans, verify and align the plans to standards, list and identify core and supplemental resources for lessons.  Unit plans detail individual lessons that include modifications, extensions, and available digital resources.  All teachers are invited to apply.  Priority is given to teachers who already plan ESL for that grade, but is not a requisite.  Eligible teachers should have a strong background of lesson planning and/or curriculum writing.

Responsibilities:

• Attend PD for PowerSchool UCCI training with Anna Yuen if not already familiar
• Identify resources to support and extend lessons
• Complete Curriculum Map (approx. 150 hours) by August 15, 2025
• Model best practices in using unit and lesson plans on UCCI during CPT
• Answer questions and help teachers when working in UCCI during CP
• Start Date: 04/01/2025
• End Date: 08/15/2025

Qualifications:

• Licensed teacher
• Strong understanding of standards
• Subject/content awareness
• Approval of ELL Coordinator and/or Principal
  
  

Stipend Amount:

• $6,000.00 stipend paid August 2025 upon receipt of completed curriculum map
