Requirements
  • 5–10+ years of enterprise business-to-business software-as-a-service selling experience or equivalent complex solution sales experience, with a consistent track record of hitting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to run insight-led enterprise sales cycles, respectfully push back, quantify impact, and mobilize buying committees.
  • Strong executive presence with chief financial officers, chief information officers, heads of shared services, and comfort navigating enterprise procurement.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-threaded deals using mutual action plans, MEDDICC-style qualification, and disciplined forecasting.
  • Strong collaboration with presales or solutions engineering and post-sales teams, selling solutions that can be delivered.
  • Fluency in English and German, or another major European language depending on territory.
Responsibilities
  • Build and execute territory and account plans covering target accounts, stakeholders, sequencing, and multi-threading strategy.
  • Create net-new pipeline through outbound prospecting, partner motions, events, and customer referrals.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene and forecasting through a repeatable, metrics-driven cadence.
  • Practice insight selling by challenging the customer’s initial framing and identifying where value is trapped in exceptions, approvals, master data, and controls.
  • Run executive discovery to uncover operational bottlenecks and decision friction, then translate findings into a target-state narrative, urgency, and mutual action plan.
  • Build internal alignment across chief financial officer- and chief information officer-led buying committees, including champions, economic buyers, information technology and security stakeholders, and process owners.
  • Own the business case, pricing strategy, proposals, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Quantify and communicate value through capacity release, cycle-time reduction, control and compliance improvements, and stack simplification, tying it to executive priorities and budget.
  • Drive deals to closure with clear next steps, strong deal governance, and accurate forecasting.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineers to run workshops and demonstrations and de-risk technical concerns involving security, integration, and rollout.
  • Align with Customer Success on implementation readiness, success criteria, and expansion paths.
  • Ensure clean handoffs from close to kickoff while maintaining continuity of the value narrative and outcomes.
  • Position BLP against point tools and fragmented stacks, including optical character recognition, intelligent document processing, workflow, process mining, and robotic process automation.
  • Anticipate and neutralize competitive plays through differentiation and proof.
Desired Qualifications
  • Enterprise resource planning or SAP exposure, including S/4, ECC, public cloud, or private cloud, or experience selling finance, procurement, or shared-services transformations.
  • Experience selling automation platforms such as workflow, robotic process automation, process mining, or intelligent document processing and winning against incumbents.
  • Experience with global enterprise rollouts and multi-country stakeholders.
