Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 4 years of experience in Training Design and Development
  • At least 3 years of experience with learning content development tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Design Suite, and Camtasia)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, LOB partners, and leadership to assess business needs that inform the strategy and evolution of foundational associate experiences
  • Use internal and external research to envision and craft learning experiences that align to human-centered design principles
  • Lead quarterly learning experience reviews to inform changes with the goal to continuously deliver a high-quality, seamless, and personalized experience
  • Partner with team members to consult with senior leaders and stakeholders on learning strategy, programmatic changes, and implementation activities
  • Plan and prioritize work; create and drive project timeline; identify obstacles to success
  • Lead the design and creation of the learning experience
  • Work closely with SMEs/content providers to ensure a cohesive and seamless learning experience
  • Design learning experiences that demonstrate an understanding of adult learning principles and leverage current learning trends, including gamification and rich media (example: video) to enhance the learner experience
  • Determine, recommend, and document project instructional standards and strategies, learner engagement strategies, and evaluation plan
  • Engage with project team members to enable clarity of goal; conduct on-going reviews to ensure outcome is on track to meet business needs
  • Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities, when applicable
  • Partner with other learning experience designers and content developers to support material or deliverable development needs, as appropriate
  • Make decisions by identifying issues, diagnosing problems, generating alternative solutions and analyzing opportunities and risks
  • Set and achieve challenging individual goals that support department and business goals
  • Assume personal responsibility for projects and follow-through to completion with minimal need for direct supervision
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years of Training Design and Development for digital modalities
  • At least 4 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and video editing software)
  • At least 2 years of experience in UI/UX and graphic design
  • At least 2 years of experience with mobile content creation, curation and delivery
  • At least one year of experience with Adobe Connect (or comparable virtual classroom product)
  • At least one year of experience in Google Suite
  • Project Management Professional Certification or knowledge of Agile methodology
