Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience building extensible and maintainable applications.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript (ES6) and TypeScript
  • Working knowledge of at least one backend language such as Python, Java, PHP, etc.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and processes such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, AWS/GCP, GitHub Actions, Terraform
  • Proven track record of technical leadership on significant engineering initiatives spanning multiple teams or business domains
  • Deep experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and observability practices
  • History of shaping engineering culture through technical documentation, architecture reviews, and process improvement
  • Strong track record of mentoring other engineers and contributing to team-wide growth and beyond
Responsibilities
  • Deliver code with quality and attention to detail (bug-free, unit tested, easy to understand, and easily maintainable)
  • Lead continuous improvements to NetSuite platform, with an emphasis on robust peer review and elevated code quality standards
  • Contribute to solution design, technical direction, and NetSuite platform architecture
  • Foster team cohesion, inclusion, and set an example for other engineers
  • Mentor junior software engineers in all aspects of their engineering skill-sets
  • Interact closely with other development teams to ensure that NetSuite customizations are well thought-out and align with higher-level technical goals
  • Lead efforts to ensure that best practices around monitoring and observability are followed in any NetSuite customizations
  • Effectively execute in a PCI and SOX compliant environment

  • Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining internal- or external-facing developer tools, platforms, or frameworks that are consumed by other engineers
  • Experience with JS testing frameworks, tools and methodologies such as Jest and Cypress
  • Demonstrated success in significantly shaping technical roadmaps, architectural strategies, and engineering best practices at an organizational level

Anacostia Rail Holdings appoints Aimee Nolan as Chief Legal Officer. Anacostia Rail Holdings (ARH) has appointed Aimee Nolan as Chief Legal Officer, effective immediately. She joins the executive leadership team and will oversee legal, compliance, governance, and risk functions as the company continues to grow. Nolan succeeds Mark Sidman, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, who will retire on March 31, 2026, after more than ten years with ARH. Since joining the company in 2013, Sidman played a key role in supporting long-term growth and strengthening governance and integrity across the organisation. Nolan joins ARH from Zoro Tools, Inc., a subsidiary of W.W. Grainger, Inc., where she served as General Counsel and executive leadership team member.
