As the Administrative Supervisor, you will work closely with the Operations division to prioritize and coordinate the daily work of a team of Justice Court Navigators, managing personnel-related activities, including hiring, terminations, performance management, and training. This position develops business requirements for technical enhancement projects that will positively impact operational effectiveness, and both work on and manage those projects to the conclusion. You will also work closely with functional business areas and court users to examine existing business models and workflows to troubleshoot, enhance, and provide specialized operational and technical support to the 26 Justice Courts.
With a specialized understanding of the business requirements, you will identify possible modifications and enhancements, analyze possible solutions, and make appropriate recommendations to achieve goals and objectives.

Five years of progressively responsible administrative experience
High school diploma or GED
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications
Associate’s degree
Experience as a lead or supervisor
Experience with the Justice Courts
Project management skills
Supervise assigned staff and manage personnel-related activities including hiring, terminations, performance management, and training
Support the Justice Courts’ Operations Division programs and processes by completing and coordinating tasks related to enhancements according to the needs of each Justice Court, aligning business operations and strategic priorities, and providing training and support
Combined with an advanced understanding of the business requirements, identify possible modifications and enhancements, analyze possible solutions, make appropriate recommendations to achieve goals and objectives, and implement modifications and enhancements
Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Justice Courts operations and technology to support court staff and judicial officers and improve customer service
Resolve escalated, complex complaints and problems
Recommend and implement changes and improvements to processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Consult with all levels of management, business operations, technical staff, and external vendors regarding business operations, technology enhancements, procurement, process improvements, electronic workflow solutions, strategic planning, and training and support.
Track and analyze business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the business unit and the Justice Courts
Work with business and technical staff to document simple and complex process change requests and new functionality and coordinate implementation of changes
Prepare expert documentation for business requirements, procurement and purchasing, process analysis results, process change requests, training guides, and desk operations guides based on roles and responsibilities
Present information and recommendations in written reports and oral presentations; communicate concerns and meet milestone dates
Function as a liaison between business and technology groups
Collaborate with Justice Courts’ Administrators, Administrative staff, external vendors, Judicial Officers, and court staff to ensure goals and objectives are met
Interpret and explain County and department rules, policies, and/or regulations pertaining to the area of assignment
The position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
Must have the ability to travel to and from various County locations utilizing personal or County-owned
