Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD).
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery residency.
  • Completion of fellowship training in otology or neurotology.
  • Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and education.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Ohio.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with otologic and neurotologic conditions.
  • Care for patients with hearing loss, chronic ear disease, cholesteatoma, otologic infections, vestibular disorders, otologic trauma, and implantable hearing technologies.
  • Perform cochlear implantation, osseointegrated hearing solutions, and contemporary management of vestibular disorders.
  • Participate in outpatient and surgical care.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and regional reach of the department’s ear and hearing programs.
  • Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical and operative settings.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, skills training, and scholarly educational activities.
  • Participate in departmental committees, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary care pathways.
  • Work with colleagues in audiology, vestibular therapy, neurology, neurosurgery, pediatrics, and primary care to provide coordinated patient-centered care.
  • Contribute to programmatic growth in cochlear implantation, hearing restoration, and vestibular care.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in cochlear implantation and implantable hearing technologies.
  • Interest in vestibular disorders and multidisciplinary ear care.
  • Prior teaching experience or demonstrated engagement in trainee education.
  • Ability to contribute to program development and clinical innovation.
