  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 1+ years of experience working with aircraft stress analysis/structural analysis
  • 1+ years of experience using NASTRAN/PATRAN or similar FEM software to perform structural analysis on aircraft or space structures
  • 1+ years of experience with Military Air Vehicle Platform Structure or Sub-System definition and analysis
  • 1+ years of experience with design/analysis of metallic and composite structure
  • Background utilizing classical hand analysis as well as finite element methods and tools
  • Experience collaborating across multi-functional teams
  • Experience with aircraft structural analysis and composite materials
  • Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
  • Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
  • Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
  • Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
  • Works under general supervision
