Requirements
  • Completed vocational training as an information technology specialist with a focus on application development, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Initial practical experience developing and supporting Data Center Automation solutions, for example with Salt, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Very good knowledge of Python and the ability to use it confidently in development and automation projects.
  • Strong familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems and good knowledge of common scripting languages such as Shell or PowerShell.
  • Professional experience using Git and modern version-control systems.
  • Very good German and good English language skills.
Responsibilities
  • Implement business requirements by providing appropriate automation logic as a Data Center Automation specialist.
  • Analyze operational processes for operating managed-services customers and optimize them through appropriate automation.
  • Improve the quality and efficiency of workflows for deployment tasks, software updates, and other technical administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to the strategic and technical advancement of the associated internal information-technology infrastructures.
  • Analyze and resolve errors, optimize existing application logic, and further develop it.
  • Independently create documentation for implemented projects and train internal employees.

  • Initial experience working with database management systems such as Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, or comparable technologies.
