Requirements
  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Significant experience in marketing in the financial services or payments sector, working in a fast-moving environment
  • Prior experience in business development
  • Prior experience in designing and executing multichannel marketing campaigns (i.e., paid social, search engine marketing, paid social, email, direct mail etc.) across the marketing lifecycle (acquisition, usage, retention, loyalty)
  • Strong executive presence and comfort leading discussions with clients
  • Strong analytical skills and feel comfortable translating data into marketing strategy
  • Strong written and in-person communication skills
  • Team player with experience coordinating cross functional, end-to-end projects that included a high level of detail and ability to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met
  • Self-motivated and proactive in asking questions / proposing solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Willing to travel
Responsibilities
  • Lead Visa Marketing Services for Visa Community issuers, GSPs, and Processors
  • Drive the strategy and oversight of execution of key marketing initiatives to drive client business growth, such as lifecycle marketing engagements, best practices, go-to-market recommendations, sponsorship marketing, advisory services, social/digital marketing, etc.
  • Lead marketing-related project scoping and requirements while aligning with sales and the client
  • Apply data-driven approach to marketing recommendations leveraging Visa data and industry research tools to capture/communicate marketing best practices and customer insights and present to clients
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement marketing projects that leverage the best of Visa resources and expertise (e.g., with Sales, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Product, Marketing, Legal, etc.)
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of marketing projects working closely with the Marketing Delivery team, including escalating any deliverables, updating timelines, and communicating changes to stakeholders with limited supervisory oversight
  • Support the key products/marketing initiatives, e.g., product launch, NFL/Olympics promotion, Financial Football/Soccer, conversion marketing, contactless marketing, etc.
  • Manage ad hoc requests from key stakeholders, e.g., clients, Visa senior leadership, etc.
  • Manage the budget/finance process as part of the program oversight and management, working closely with Marketing Delivery
  • Responsible for project timelines and budget management
  • Track and manage program results
