Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in information technology infrastructure, End User Computing, or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of core Amazon Web Services services, including Virtual Private Cloud, Identity and Access Management, Key Management Service, Directory Service, and CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, virtual private networks, Direct Connect, and streaming protocols such as PCoIP or DCV.
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Amazon Web Services Command Line Interface for bulk user provisioning and management.
Responsibilities
  • Build and scale virtual desktop solutions, select Windows or Linux operating system bundles, and determine compute and storage requirements.
  • Connect AWS WorkSpaces to Active Directory environments, including Simple AD, Managed Microsoft AD, and on-premises AD, as well as identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Enforce security policies, multi-factor authentication, AWS Key Management Service encryption, and network access rules through Virtual Private Clouds.
  • Monitor system uptime, automate patching with AWS Systems Manager, troubleshoot connection issues, and optimize costs.
  • Implement multi-factor authentication, SAML 2.0 federation with identity providers such as Okta, Ping, and Microsoft Entra ID, and strict network access controls.
  • Enforce encryption at rest using AWS Key Management Service for root and user volumes and maintain streaming protocol security using PCoIP and Amazon DCV.
  • Design and manage application packaging and delivery solutions, including Amazon WAM, AppStream 2.0, and traditional group policies, to streamline software deployments.

What are the details of True Zero Technologies' contract? True Zero was selected through a small-business set-aside solicitation that received 26 bids. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract which, excludes unexercised options, will be funded through DARPA's fiscal 2026 budget for research, development, testing and evaluation. What is the Purpose of MANNUS? The MANNUS task order was launched to ensure that DARPA's commercial digital production printer, the Ricoh Pro C7210x/sx, meets performance and specification expectations. The printer was acquired to deliver high-quality prints for research, development, testing, marketing and outreach.
