Nearly every bank in the world has a problem, customers can’t get a deposit account online! It turns out this doesn’t just affect deposit accounts, but commercial bank accounts, treasury services, credit cards ... the list is endless. For many banks, building and maintaining this online origination capability demands a lot of engineering which is scarce, and better put on maintaining bank security and supporting other services such as mobile banking, online banking, payments, etc.

At Prelim we’re building a no-code platform that banks can use to orchestrate their customer origination. The Prelim platform is white-labeled to look like the banks website, making it easy for customers to go to the banks website and apply for any banking product. Prelim handles the hard parts, fraud prevention, compliance with regulations, and connecting to the bank’s technologies. Today, Prelims customers span from top national banks like Chase, to local community banks like Signature Bank of Georgia.

Why we’re looking for you

The Prelim team is seeking our first platform analyst to join our growing team. Prelim is helping launch a huge number of banks and you would be on the ground floor of making this happen. This is the right role for someone who loves working with customers and managing complex software products. (You would be working in Prelim but a good comparison might be to Wordpress or Shopify).

What you’ll do

You’ll be helping launch customers in Prelim by building customer workflows on Prelim. You also advise customers on what is possible within Prelim and scoping bank product launches. You’ll also be communicating with bank operations, business unit leaders, compliance across multiple banks on an ongoing basis on complex bank product workflows.

Who you’ll be working with

You’ll work with stakeholders across the banks, from C-Suite to bankers in the branch. You’ll also work closely with Customer Success, Engineering, Design, and Sales as you digitize bank products and launch online account opening.

Your day to day

Helping customers administrate, build, and launch banking products from within Prelim
Advising our customers and scope bank product launches, with an eye towards the necessary requirements of a bank product origination.
Communicating bank topics effectively to customers, helping them understand industry standards for bank product originations
Collaborate with the Prelim team, including engineering, design, customer success and sales to launch customers

Your skillset

An understanding of bank originations and processes, and able to communicate these topics effectively.
An eye for design, and what an ideal customer experience should look like
Effective and empathetic communicator of complex technical topics
Ability to multitask across complex workflows, and across multiple customers
(Optional) Previous experience with Prelim either building or managing forms, or similar experience with other no-code solutions
