The Role
We are seeking a strategic Art Director to join our team who is passionate about the crypto & AI space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the creative strategy and direction of the Story brand. Reporting to the Head of Design and working closely with Head of Marketing, the Art Director will continue to develop our brand identity and own all design initiatives related to marketing, events, social media, and web. This role requires a deep understanding of the crypto industry and a familiarity with its unique culture and audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative strategy on brand team, and contribute to overall company strategy, especially on the marketing front
- Oversee the conceptualization and execution of innovative and effective design solutions across all channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and event management to ensure a unified brand voice and aesthetic, while advocating and designing for the correct target audiences
- Continue to develop a cohesive creative vision for the Story brand
- Lead a visual designer, providing guidance, inspiration, and mentorship
- Ensure consistency and integrity of brand visuals and messaging in all external communications
- Stay informed of industry trends (especially on X) and L1 competitor activities
- Oversee the design process from concept to completion
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, production teams, and contractors as needed
- Advocate for the unique needs and preferences of the crypto community within the broader design and marketing strategy

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Passion for the crypto and AI industries and a native understanding of its culture and trends
- Excellent understanding of branding, visual design principles, and digital marketing
