Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of related experience in project coordination, curriculum development, and/or delivery of adult training.
  • A valid motor vehicle operator's license, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
  • Firefighter I and II certification through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection or the State Firefighters' and Fire Marshals' Association.
  • Instructor II certification.
  • As an equivalency, four years of related experience with an Associate's Degree in an applicable field, or six years of related experience with a High School Diploma or GED, will be considered.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service representative for the Permian Basin region.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with municipal, volunteer, and emergency response organizations.
  • Coordinate regional training opportunities.
  • Identify customer needs.
  • Promote Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service programs.
  • Support business development initiatives.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and program growth.
