BlackSky is looking for an IT Support Specialist to support our Tukwila, Washington location. Reporting to the IT Service Manager, this role handles the daily support of internal users, onboarding and offboarding procedures, and support for in office video conferencing. You will also assist with equipment ordering and software licensing.
Responsibilities:
- Provides day to day support for Windows 10, Mac, and Linux users.
- Active Directory account creation and account management.
- Supports desktop and laptop imaging.
- Supports remote Cisco AnyConnect VPN users.
- Supports various cloud technologies, from video conferencing, to O365, SSO, and other cloud collaboration tools.
- Asset management, equipment ordering, and order tracking.
- Basic network troubleshooting.
- Other job related duties assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- At least three years of experience providing IT end user and systems support.
- Available for after hours and weekend support as part of an on-call rotation.
- Able to troubleshoot and correct OS and application issues with Windows 10/11, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.
- Able to troubleshoot and correct Wi-Fi and wired networking issues.
- Able to create basic configuration documentation, KB articles, and how-to documentation.
- Troubleshoot and correct issues remotely, using remote management tools and methodologies.
- Scripting with PowerShell, Python, and Linux Bash.
- Experience with Office 365, Azure, and Intune.
- Able to work independently, with strong self-direction and initiative, as well as within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MCSE, MCSA, or A+ certification.
- Knowledge of virtualization software (VMware Fusion/Workstation, VirtualBox, etc).
- Experience implementing processes and technical solutions to comply with security standards such as NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, SOC, ISO 27001, etc.

The anticipated salary range for candidates in Seattle, WA is $72,000-$78,000 per year. The final compensation package offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on specific background and education. BlackSky is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect salary ranges in other states or locations outside of Seattle, WA.
