Requirements
  • Sales and/or business development experience is required.
  • The candidate must present themselves professionally in appearance and communication style and have strong presentation skills.
  • The candidate must be comfortable with a hybrid role and with utilizing and demonstrating technology solutions.
  • The candidate must be competent in managing key partnerships and other stakeholders.
  • The candidate must have a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors and credit unions in the assigned territories through outreach, field presence, presentations, and training on the company offering.
  • Achieve business growth by nurturing existing relationships and creating new ones.
  • Promote new and enhanced processes and tools.
  • Educate existing and prospective partners and their clients on the company's value proposition.
  • Escalate technical or complex requests to the appropriate subject matter experts.
  • Support partner engagement with ongoing support, marketing tools, and content.
  • Increase referral frequency and retention by fostering strong partnership relationships.
  • Develop sales strategies to facilitate customer and partner expansion.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams on brand and product development initiatives, and communicate partnership insights to improve the platform, solutions, and service offering.
  • Act as the local expert for key partnership management and sales, and identify and report issues that could jeopardize partnership success.
  • Develop sound knowledge of the estate planning and settlement process.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for company services for assigned partners.
  • Own and achieve a personal quota within the assigned territory.
  • Perform client consultations as required to support the primary consultation team.
  • Travel 6–10 days per month within the territory, to relevant conferences, or to the Montreal headquarters.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or asset management.
  • Bilingual English and French language skills.
