Front Office Supervisor

Job Description

• Deliver luxury service consistently, embodying Sofitel’s values of Excellence, Plaisir and Openness.
• Lead, coach and support the Front Office team throughout daily operations, ensuring a seamless and personalised guest experience.
• Oversee Front Office procedures and brand standards, supporting team training and communicating operational updates.
• Perform Front Desk duties as required, including check-in and check-out, guest requests, account enquiries and issue resolution.
• Coordinate VIP arrivals, group requirements, room allocations and communication across hotel departments.
• Manage guest accounts and open folios, supporting credit processes and ensuring accuracy across Front Office transactions.
• Drive hotel promotions, upselling opportunities and Accor Live Limitless (ALL) enrolments while supporting departmental targets.
• Support roster planning, onboarding and payroll administration, while proactively resolving guest concerns and maintaining smooth operations during peak periods or system disruptions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel Front Office environment.
• Team Leader or supervisory experience highly regarded.
• Current RSA and First Aid certification.
• Strong Front Office operational experience, including check-in/out, billing, payments and guest account management.
• Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a team, with exposure to rostering and shift coverage.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve concerns professionally and empathetically.
• Proficiency in Opera Cloud PMS, including front and back-office functions and manual procedures during system outages.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and other relevant communication systems.
