Responsibilities
  • Assist the FSO/AFSO in the development, management, administration, and audit of the security program in support of our Defense and Intelligence portfolio of programs
  • Support security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures
  • Assist with compliance regarding government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export-controlled data
  • Maintain and enhance integrity of personnel and procedures required to protect classified and sensitive information and material per the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
  • Track and administer personnel security clearances in government systems and work with candidates to obtain and maintain security clearance records
  • Interpret and enforce government and company security policies and provide direction and guidance to program personnel
  • Interface with Program Managers and maintain liaison with US Government Program Security Officers
  • Conduct Security Education and training for all aspects of the security program. Track security training requirements for staff
  • Participate in security self-assessment initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system
  • Manage documentation, including employment contracts, benefits enrollment, and performance appraisals ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Serve as a point of contact for questions related to company policies and procedures
  • Support compliance efforts with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Assist in the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
  • Administration of employee bios and certifications
  • Payroll entry and administration
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and changes
  • Data gathering to support analytics and reporting activities
  • Responsible for employee handbook updates and new state regulations
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with access control/visit control/badge management systems and software (e.g., DISS, NCAISS / NISS, NBIS)
  • Experience with security onboarding of new hires and conducting briefings
  • Knowledge of Foreign Travel Requirements
