Requirements
  • Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in HTML, CSS, and Typescript/Javascript
  • Knowledge of HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, UDP, WS, GRPC, REST, SOAP, CSR, SSR, ISR, SSG, CMS, WASM and other web technologies and concepts
  • Desire to gain domain knowledge of the Futures trading industry
  • Understanding of SQL and No-SQL databases and scripting languages
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the engineering, product, design, data and QA team to design, develop, and maintain NinjaTrader’s web applications using variety of programming languages and frameworks including TypeScript/JavaScript, React, NextJS, Gatsby, Sanity and others
  • Assist in building and enhancing new product features, platforms and internal tooling from both front end and full stack perspectives
  • Work on complexity/time estimation, project tracking, agile/scrum methodologies, code observability, root cause analysis, unit testing and other core industry skills
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality, stability and performance of the applications
  • Contribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable and secure software solutions
