Responsibilities
  • Support senior managers in origination activities, including preparing historical and projected financial statements, analyzing the financial implications of mergers and acquisitions, and conducting public and private valuation analysis for major corporations.
  • Participate in execution activities, including data gathering, analysis, and material preparation, and manage standard processes such as preparing deal documentation.
  • Build and apply valuation models based on financial research and analysis, including comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, and comparable acquisitions analysis.
  • Prepare analytical materials to support credit, compliance, engagement committee, and balance sheet approvals.
  • Conduct corporate operations reviews and portfolio analytic reviews, and prepare risk/return valuations.
  • Gather and process market share data and shareholder and investor profiles.

  • An undergraduate degree with a focus in finance, business, accounting, economics, or mathematics is preferred.

Moelis announces $0.65 dividend and $22M buyback amid 6% undervaluation

Moelis declared a quarterly dividend of $0.65 per share, payable on 17 September 2026 to shareholders of record on 10 August 2026. Moelis & Company reported second quarter 2026 revenues of $409.4 million, up 12% year-over-year. The investment bank posted GAAP net income of $55.1 million, or $0.62 per share, for the quarter. For the first half of 2026, revenues reached $729.2 million, a 9% increase from the prior year period. First-half GAAP net income totalled $97.4 million, or $1.10 per share. Chief Executive Officer Navid Mahmoodzadegan attributed the record quarterly and half-year revenues to the firm's client franchise depth and expanding advisory capabilities. He noted strong client engagement and transaction activity momentum. The company hired 12 managing directors year-to-date across sectors including private credit, energy, and healthcare IT.
