Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with Responsible Design Engineers to develop test requirements and standards.
  • Designs, develops, implements and qualifies test solutions for various vehicle systems both electrical and mechanical.
  • Ensures all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards and best practices.
  • Creates a management system for test assets to include periodic preventative maintenance.
  • Provide root cause analysis assistance or leadership during trouble rectification.
  • Develop intuitive human-machine interaction tools for test assets to enable trained production technicians to efficiently operate any test.
  • Implement data connectivity to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to enable effective data capture.
  • Provide sustaining engineering coverage for vehicle systems and act as the first line of defense for problem resolution.
