What believers are saying

  • Humana's April 2026 Texas launch expands Tuesday Health into a major national payer channel.
  • Buckeye's January 2026 Ohio rollout broadens Medicaid Managed Care and dual-eligible revenue exposure.
  • The 2024 $60 million strategic investment from Valtruis, Blue Venture Fund, and CareSource funded expansion.

What critics are saying

  • Tuesday Health depends on payers like Humana and Buckeye; contract nonrenewals crush growth quickly.
  • Palliative care utilization data must keep showing avoided hospitalizations by 2026, or payers churn.
  • A failed reimbursement model would strand Tuesday Health's 2023 startup infrastructure and burn through capital.

What makes Tuesday Health unique

  • Tuesday Health pairs palliative care with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and dual-eligible plans.
  • Its interdisciplinary teams provide 24/7 access, in-person visits, virtual visits, and caregiver support.
  • The company now operates with Humana and Centene-owned Buckeye Health Plan partnerships.
