Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience with information protection and/or related fields demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 5+ years of experience with managing and leading teams or functions
  • 5+ years of experience using ticket tracking tools for change management, problem and incident management, and availability management, demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • Strong background in data protection, governance, risk management, and/or information protection preferred
  • Strong understanding of governance and reporting
  • Fundamental understanding of encryption management, data loss prevention, and key and certificate management
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of data organizing or structuring complex data across varied data sources

  • Ability to lead a team capable of reporting metrics and driving related compliance actions
Responsibilities
  • Run the governance and reporting team’s day to day operations
  • Oversee the process for receiving and aggregating data related to DLP, encryption management, and key & certificate management for all data in transit
  • Ensure process validates the accuracy and completeness of data received
  • Develop and report Key Performance Indicators and reporting for submission into enterprise reporting as part of the larger program
  • Lead efforts requiring remediation and compliance with stakeholders and application owners
  • Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiencies in collecting and reporting metrics
  • Ensure the team is using the right tools and methods to collect and report metrics and track remediation efforts
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
