  • Strong knowledge of contract law and familiarity with reviewing BAAs and vendor agreements
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a health tech, SaaS, or similar fast-paced environment
  • Experience with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program
Responsibilities
  • Manage the customer contracting process, including the performance of customer diligence, creation of Zus’s customer Order Forms, and handling of legal and privacy requests
  • Conduct initial reviews of vendor contracts, identify key legal risks, and coordinate with the General Counsel for final approval
  • Oversee our Equity Program, including processing stock grants, options, and ownership changes
  • Prepare memos and summaries to assist the General Counsel in decision-making
  • Support the drafting of compliance policies, identification of potential legal risks, and maintenance of audit controls
  • Conduct research on legal and regulatory issues related to our business use cases
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies, handling employee issues, and maintaining compliance with labor regulations
