Requirements
  • Active Secret (or higher) USG Clearance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a systems administration doing the following (5 years preferred):
  • Experience across traditional IT stack (Clients, Networking, Servers, Storage)
  • Managing and supporting Windows-based domains (Active Directory)
  • Managing and supporting Linux operating systems
  • Operating in classified or air-gapped network environments
  • Experience upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware
  • Experience creating and managing system permissions and user accounts
  • Experience maintaining networks and network file systems
  • DoD 8570 IAT-II Certification (obtainable within 180-days of employment)
Responsibilities
  • Installs, configures, and maintains a variety of IT platforms and tools operating in classified environments
  • Manages and maintains patches and software updates using configuration management tools
  • Work closely with information security personnel to ensure compliance with applicable directives, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to troubleshoot information technology issues using all available resources
  • Develop new and maintain existing installation and configuration procedures
  • Support local and remote classified software development and validation environments
  • Collaborate with remote personnel to ensure consistent execution of support activities across locations
  • Execute system operations in the unique constraints of air-gapped classified network environments
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support in small, classified environments with limited potential for escalation support
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of endpoint configuration management tools (SCCM/MECM)
  • Familiarity with enterprise virtualization tools (VMware)
  • Experience with Atlassian Stack or similar toolset
