- Associates degree required; starting with graduating class in 2017
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology is required
- Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross is required
- MR imaging certification through ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT is preferred; if MR registry not yet obtained, must take and pass MR registry within 12 months of hire
- Experience: less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Certified to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures and safety screening in accordance with Saint Luke's Health System MRI Safety practices
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging exams with or without contrast
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging guided biopsies (location dependent)
- Conduct thorough screening and device research prior to scanning all patients in adherence with MRI Safety practices
- Provide patient-centered care and work effectively in team or autonomously
- Maintain organizational skills, adaptability, and strong communication while performing MRI procedures
- ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification is preferred but not required; if MR registry not yet obtained within 12 months, must obtain MR registry after hire
- Ability to participate in additional modalities as assigned; willingness to support other modalities as needed
