Requirements
  • You have at least 5 years of experience working as a Frontend Software Engineer
  • You have developed excellent frontend applications using React
  • You are a great programmer, with particular expertise with JavaScript or TypeScript
  • You have a solid understanding of web fundamentals, such as CSS, HTML, HTTP, and web browsers
  • You are able to successfully drive optimal and efficient design and development of complex frontend systems
  • You have experience with accessibility, internationalization, and frontend performance optimization
  • You have developed component libraries or implemented design systems
  • You can take static mockups and turn them into a reality
  • You bias towards action, and you find ways to deliver better solutions more efficiently
  • You’re empathetic and collaborative: you work well in a team environment
  • You’re a clear and effective communicator
Responsibilities
  • Defining the technical vision of key systems, while driving innovation and improving quality
  • Writing clean and maintainable code in TypeScript (React), CSS and HTML
  • Helping to establish best practices and patterns, and encouraging their adoption across the wider frontend organization
  • Ensuring quality work within your team by leveraging tools such as Playwright and Storybook, and practices such as unit testing, e2e testing, and continuous deployment
  • Instrumenting your applications with user and system performance metrics
  • Writing clear and thoughtful technical designs
  • Participating in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability of your frontend systems in production
  • Mentoring other engineers, pair programming from time to time, and regularly providing insightful code reviews
  • Collaborating closely with UX designers and backend engineers to design, build and ship great products
  • Collaborating closely with key music industry stakeholders as well as colleagues in NYC, Los Angeles, and Toronto
