Job Title: DataFlux Software Developer

Job location: McLean, VA

Job Overview: We are looking for a proficient DataFlux Software Developer to spearhead the conversion of existing DataFlux jobs to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). The successful candidate will have solid experience with DataFlux application development and a keen interest in data migration projects. Experience with IICS is a plus, as it will facilitate the transition to modern cloud-based data integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze current DataFlux jobs to understand their logic, components, and data processing workflows.
Collaborate with the data integration team to design efficient migration strategies to transform DataFlux jobs into IICS workflows.
Develop, test, and implement solutions to ensure the accurate and efficient migration of data processes.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance throughout the migration process.
Ensure data integrity and maintain high standards of data quality during the conversion activities.
Document conversion processes, best practices, and provide training materials for future reference.
Skill Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong expertise in developing and managing jobs using DataFlux frameworks.
Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex job structures and flows within DataFlux.
Familiarity with data transformation concepts and cloud migration strategies.
Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) is an advantage, enhancing migration efficiency.
Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and integration principles.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in data migration projects from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
Certification in relevant data integration technologies.
Experience with scripting languages like Python or Shell for process automation.
