Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in education, public affairs, social services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, implement, and evaluate programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good public relations skills and self-motivation.
  • Required knowledge and skills in computers and related software applications for program planning, implementation, and record keeping.
  • Ability to administer and interpret assessment results.
  • Ability to travel throughout Northwest Indiana in a mobile office environment.
Responsibilities
  • Track student schedules to ensure students take appropriate coursework leading to completion of an Ivy Tech credential.
  • Track student progress weekly and communicate information to high school faculty and staff.
  • Meet with students who are not persisting and communicate information to high school faculty and staff.
  • Coordinate with Early College High School and Ivy Tech faculty and staff to provide tutoring or supplemental instruction for students who are not persisting.
  • Assist in administering Knowledge Assessment to ensure students meet college-level benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with high school and Ivy Tech faculty and staff to provide remediation strategies that assist students in meeting college-level benchmarks.
  • Meet with students to develop individual career plans.
  • Coordinate parent workshops to assist families with admission applications, financial aid, and scholarships.
  • Follow the specified matriculation plan for students who do not complete a credential in high school.
  • Deliver on-site Early College program services at assigned high schools, including information sessions, admissions, assessment testing, advising, orientation sessions, registration, obtaining transcripts, and guidance with financial aid resources.
  • Participate in Early College and dual-credit events at area high schools when related or as needed.
  • Create and deliver training sessions and updates on DualEnroll.com for partner schools and statewide K-14 staff.
  • Serve as the DualEnroll.com liaison for K-14 Systems Office leadership, DualEnroll staff, and Banner team administration on issues involving the DualEnroll.com platform.
  • Develop tracking reports for a statewide K-14 audience covering student GPA waiver spreadsheets, nonresident/resident alien student applications, and other student account issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve DualEnroll.com platform issues at local and statewide levels.
  • Update billing lists with dual-enrollment information and associated fees.
  • Collaborate with other departments and the System Office on initiatives geared toward completion.
  • Maintain appropriate records and confidentiality of student records and data.
