Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and one to three years of experience working with medical devices sufficient to perform the essential duties.
  • The ability to effectively manage projects under low levels of supervision.
  • The ability to communicate complex information to various departments throughout the company, both orally and in writing.
  • The ability to use quantitative methods as demonstrated through past work experience.
  • The ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and the Oracle enterprise resource planning system, including Agile product lifecycle management.
  • The ability to mediate conflict between parties to obtain buy-in on a single path forward.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee changes to existing products and processes.
  • Plan projects to meet timeline, budget, and quality requirements while representing the interests of all organizational disciplines during changes to products currently on the market.
  • Encourage safe practices and enforce safety policies.
  • Develop and monitor project risk management plans, resolve issues arising during the project life cycle, and interpret situations and issues into compliant paths regarding FDA, ISO, and Ultradent standards.
  • Oversee updates to design history files with post-market change control deliverables.
  • Execute project meetings, ensure project deliverables are understood, and ensure actions are agreed upon, communicated, and followed up.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for new projects, status reports, and guidance.
  • Provide updates to project stakeholders and monitor activities to ensure deliverables are met within scope, resources, time, cost, and quality.
  • Coordinate with Business Unit and Brand Marketing teams on launch formats, volumes, and timings to establish achievable launch plans.
  • Create project and quality system documentation for new products and processes and for changes to existing products and processes.
Desired Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of regulatory guidance relevant to medical devices, specifically FDA CFR 820.30 and ISO 13485:2016.
  • One to three years of experience leading cross-functional teams as a project manager, preferably including successfully bringing new products to commercialization.
  • PMI Project Management Professional certification.
