Requirements
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • Background check screening in accordance with Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four-year degree in Civil Engineering or similar field
  • At least ten years of experience in Geotechnical Services
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida
  • Ability to travel within Florida for site visits and meetings
  • Computer skills for operating laptop and cell phone
  • Advanced mathematical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
  • Perform geotechnical evaluations
  • Perform complex analyses for structural design
  • Prepare scope proposals and project management
  • Attend client meetings
  • Troubleshoot client issues
  • Interpret geologic and engineering characteristics
  • Administer load tests
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers
  • Prepare reports and letters for submittal
  • Ensure projects meet budget and deadlines
  • Assist in business development
  • Attend business development events
  • Other duties as assigned
