  • Define and own global tech and digital customer experience for all Okta's strategic events and programs
  • Lead global tech initiatives focused on cost efficiency, best user experience, supporting and promoting brand promises
  • Drive the vision and cross-functional execution of state of the art event websites partnership with events' audience acquisition lead
  • Drive overall requirements of registration build, including reg paths, housing, payments, discount code application, as well as tracking and reporting needs
  • Own mobile app strategy and deployment partnership with events' audience acquisition lead
  • Partner with Marketing technology team on any digital integrations/programming plans and new tool sourcing
  • Lead cross-functional teams for delivery of live and on-demand online events
  • Work with content team on event content catalog functionality and deployment
  • Manage vendor relationships required to support programs including budgeting needs and R&R definition
  • Lead strategy and deployment of badging and scanning solutions
  • Proactively identify and manage programs risks and issues to ensure that they are avoided, mitigated, transferred, accepted, while always being transparent with stakeholders about the risk posture of the program
  • Articulate, track and execute all quality gates like QA complete, UAT hand-off, dry runs, executive sign-off, product releases, etc. in accordance with processes & procedures
  • Ensure security, privacy & legal reviews
  • Travel up to 20% of time (US and globally when needed)
  • Registration and event system tools management of large-scale events. This would include deep understanding and experience with ERC, SRC, content catalog, housing tools, mobile app, live and on-demand event technologies
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally across internal teams and lead vendors independently
  • Direct experience leading live online events independently produced as well as live broadcasts of large in-person events
  • Establish effective processes, meetings and milestones and regularly communicate deadlines and interdependencies
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in a similar role
  • Experience deploying and managing event tech and services like RainFocus, EventBase, Goldcast, CVENT, IBM, Vidyard, etc
  • Ability to articulate recommendations mapped to strategic plan mapped to company goals
  • Strong proficiency in gaining alignment and communicating with key inter-departmental collaborators
  • Demonstrate an ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, act independently, and effectively risk mitigate under a constantly changing landscape
