Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
  • Availability for part-time work.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based computers.
  • A current driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the insurance carrier.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move over 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
  • Manual dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
  • Ability to walk and stand for the majority of the workday.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
Responsibilities
  • Build technician experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Use available technician resources to support diagnostic and repair work.
  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot vehicles and identify the root cause of customer concerns.
  • Work closely with the Service team to communicate customer repair options transparently.
  • Follow and promote standards for safety, cleanliness, and shop organization.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet customer expectations and deliver results.
  • Complete full, accurate, and visually transparent digital vehicle inspections.
  • Treat every guest with respect and provide transparent education about vehicle needs.
