You will be part of a global inspection team assuring the quality of components and assemblies. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client needs and each supplier’s production.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct incoming inspections of products or services, including processing services (e.g., nickel plating).
- Perform in-process and final inspections of critical features, including witness inspections (e.g., CMM program runs).
- Compile final inspection sign-off sheets or inspection packages.
- Verify that inspection equipment is capable of detecting defects.
- Ensure inspection methodologies are adequate and meet drawing specifications.
- Review and validate justifications for any parts not inspected at final inspection.
- Audit and validate execution of the inspection plan, if applicable.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mechanical inspection, preferably in aerospace or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of inspection methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
