Requirements
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit and related BIM software and related software and hardware
  • Completion of a relevant diploma or degree program from an accredited college or university
  • Must be an articulate, passionate, and persuasive communicator able to convey BIM concepts
  • Must be a respectful and collaborative individual for a team-based work environment
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in clash detection software such as Autodesk Navisworks, BIM 360, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of BIM (Building Information Modeling) principles and workflows.
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary design (architectural, structural, and MEP systems) and their integration within 3D models.
  • Ability to analyze complex 3D models, identify conflicts, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate clash identification and resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate coordination meetings and interact with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers, engineers, and project managers to achieve project objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clash detection using industry-standard software such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or other relevant tools
  • Identify design conflicts between architectural, structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and other disciplines within 3D models
  • Generate detailed clash reports and communicate findings to project teams
  • Collaborate with design teams, BIM coordinators, and project stakeholders to resolve clashes effectively
  • Facilitate coordination meetings to review and address clashes, ensuring alignment across disciplines
  • Provide expert guidance on model adjustments to eliminate conflicts
  • Ensure models are developed and maintained in compliance with project standards, BIM execution plans (BEP), and applicable codes
  • Perform regular audits of 3D models to maintain data quality and accuracy
  • Assist in establishing clash detection workflows, processes, and best practices for the project team
  • Prepare and distribute clash detection reports with clear documentation of findings, resolutions, and follow-up actions
  • Maintain accurate records of coordination activities, including clash resolutions and decisions made during meetings
  • Provide support to the production team as they develop project BIM deliverables, ensuring they align with Arcadis standards and best practices. When necessary, ensure compliance with client-specific standards based on the project’s requirements
  • Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot workflow challenges and resolve technical issues
  • Oversee BIM deliverables to ensure that they meet client/project requirements
  • Successfully complete assigned BIM support role tasks within budget and project deadlines
  • Oversee the daily management of BIM project models, including regular reviews, audits, and updates of Autodesk Revit projects. Ensure compliance with office and client standards, maintain the required level of development, and enforce proper modeling and documentation practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 19650, PAS 1192, or other BIM-related guidelines is a plus.
