As a full-stack technical development lead, you understand the complexities of delivering projects from concept through deployment. This role requires not only coding and technical fluency, but also strong communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure alignment across the client and project team.  

You will translate product visions into actionable plans and lead software engineers to develop and deliver complete end-to-end solutions in a fast and agile environment.

You Have: 

• 7+ years of experience with full-stack software development, including designing, developing, modifying, and implementing custom web-based software applications, and using React, Python, NodeJS, non-SQL and SQL database development, Typescript, Leaflet, D3, server-side development, middleware, application and data integration, API development, and core application systems
• 4+ years of experience in a lead technical development role, serving as a subject matter expert on solution and components and providing planning and execution oversight on technical implementation to a team of developers
• 3+ years of experience with software development processes and system architecture, design patterns, and software development, including unit tests, CI/CD processes, Agile methodology, and using Git for version control
• 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including AWS Gov Cloud, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including use of technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Rancher
• Knowledge of front-end design and data visualization techniques and best practices, and UI/UX methodologies and best practices
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a CS or Engineering field 

Nice If You Have:

• Experience working with DoD systems and clients
• Experience with system design, including on scalability and reliability
• Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
• Ability to translate product direction and system requirements into detailed, executable plans, and lead team in execution
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and distill information into coherent and compelling narratives, making it accessible to a broad audience 
• Ability to be self-motivated and a proactive problem-solver
• Possession of excellent communication skills for client relations
• Possession of excellent decision-making, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
