Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain organizational and reporting tools used to track personnel, expenses, lateral partner onboarding information, projects and other relevant department level data.
  • Coordinate with the key administrative groups in the firm to ensure the execution of priority initiatives in a timely and effective manner.
  • Work with the Sr. Manager of PM & LPI to coordinate the Practice Management Business Law and Litigation Department budget processes.
  • Oversee the administrative details relating to department level trainings and special events (scheduling, logistical planning, distributing invites and materials, populating firm calendars and web pages, as appropriate). When applicable, provide support for virtual and local events.
  • Conduct monthly reporting updates.
  • Work with the Sr. Manager of PM & LPI to coordinate lateral partner transition meetings, orientation schedules, and onboarding materials.
  • Maintain robust department iNet pages (including secure and public pages).
  • Monitor the department inboxes and respond to inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date action item checklists for various department level processes.
  • Help field and assist with general department information requests from attorneys and professional staff.
  • Conduct Workday updates such as BU, LPA, and PPA modifications for timekeepers.
  • Maintain and update department level DG lists.
  • Develop a strong understanding of essential firm technologies such as iManage, MS Teams, Excel, Workday, and Intapp Time.
  • Attend various meetings and special events to keep abreast of developments within the Firm.
