Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of two technical specialists in HR.
  • Provide mentorship, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Prepare regular quarterly people and engagement reports.
  • Utilise sophisticated data analytics to provide actionable insights for HR and business leaders.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data.
  • Maintain the job architecture and ensure up-to-date pay ranges.
  • Lead all aspects of the preparation and delivery of compensation statements.
  • Lead compensation benchmarking and reward processes, addressing ad hoc benchmarking requests from the business.
  • Prepare and deliver regular presentations on compensation and reward strategies.
  • Participate in union negotiations (US & UK), providing data-driven insights to support this process.
  • Collaborate with Editorial and HR management to address compensation and reward-related matters related to unions.
  • Drive the advancement of HR systems, focusing on digital transformation.
  • Maintain and configure Workday, with a particular focus on report writing, security administration, and configuration.
  • Ensuring data integrity, privacy and security within all HR systems.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a relationship with key partners in the Tech and Finance departments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR data, insight, and reward matters.
  • Communicate sophisticated data insights in a clear and compelling manner.
