Salary range: £31,524 - £33,417 p.a. inc. London weighting
Contract: Permanent 
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic Centre and other locations from time to time

Become a member of an excellent Notice Processing Team within the Parking and Traffic Department that work on delivering results to high standards. You are required to have good knowledge of the statutory appeals process and any parking legislation pertaining to your role. Working to statutory timeframes is an important part of this role. Join a team of 22 officers who strive to deliver results.

The Post

The ideal candidate should have a complete understanding of the relevant traffic and parking legislation, to consider challenges under that legislation, be responsible for deciding on whether the challenge is to be accepted or rejected, and send out appropriate decision letters. 

The ideal candidate should have the confidence to consult and liaise – with colleagues across the department to achieve solutions to queries, resolve anomalies and take remedial actions.

The ideal candidate would have adequate experience in a parking environment with back office experience of processing informal challenges.
