Responsibilities
  • Manages design or redesign of processes or projects using six sigma/Agile/process improvement methodologies
  • Understands problem statements and needs at a deep level to create, build, test and launch operational processes, technologies and roles
  • Builds relationships with clinicians and teams on the front lines to understand key pain points, experience interactions between people and technical systems, and foster buy-in to enable robust prototyping, testing, and ultimate delivery of strong service design
  • Develop metric and performance indicators to drive data driven recommendations
  • Builds action plans and drives execution
  • Integrates current findings, best practices, clinical practice guidelines and subject matter expertise to develop ideal workflow and program recommendations
  • Consider impacts of new platform development in process improvement efforts
  • Works cross functionally including product teams to build appropriate service solutions and market care teams to train new workflows
  • Supports the Clinical Design Manager in leading design sprints through successful creation and testing of prototypes, oversees implementation plans, drives results and timelines, resolves issues by course-correcting as necessary, and monitors ongoing operations for accuracy and quality
  • Prepares deliverables for business, technology, and operations leadership teams in ways that add value, achieves alignment on path forward, and influences execution against timelines
  • Deep commitment for care for vulnerable populations including dedication to improving health outcomes that matter to patients
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-3 years experience leading on large-scale and complex people, process, and technology projects especially clinical and health service workflows
  • Prior clinical experience as MD, NP, PA, RN, or PharmD is ideal, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including tailoring the message to the audience, and documenting findings and recommendations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Analytical, data-driven approach to decision making
  • Demonstrated high emotional intelligence + ability to navigate large, matrixed organization
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently with senior executives
  • High level of integrity and management of confidential information
  • Very strong self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines
  • Familiarity with EMR/practice management systems, Excel, PM
  • Consulting, project/product management, user experience a plus
