The Risk Management Manager will be a key leader within the Enterprise Issues Management Function, which resides within Global Risk Management.
The Risk Management Manager will be responsible for the evaluation, strategic design, ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the Enterprise Issue Management Quality Assurance Workflow and Monitoring tool.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in workstreams to evaluate, design, and enhance applications and tools to meet the needs of Enterprise Issues Management Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC).
• Serve as Product Owner for QA/QC Workflow Tool will include documenting Roles & Responsibilities, process flows, supporting QRGs and user guides.
• Perform all tasks associated with application management including developing and prioritizing enhancements to drive changes to technology to meet regulatory commitments.
• In partnership with Technology, design and lead related testing for QA Workflow deployments, create and distribute communications to EIM end users about releases, outages etc.
• Oversee downstream data feed management including data sharing agreements, new data feeds, updates to existing data feeds ensuring Enterprise Issues data is protected in accordance with GIS requirements.
• Responsible for existing QA/QC Workflow training (including regular updates) and the development of additional training modules as needed to drive maturity.
• Responsible for creating and generating QA Workflow reporting such as QA/QC sample generation, performance, results, health reporting, etc.
• Oversees administrative functions of the QA workflow platform.
• Maintain and develop process level procedures and guidelines for QA workflow platform.
• Leverages risk and OpEx mindset to identify and develop technology operational excellence initiatives and automation capabilities.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in financial services industry, with an extensive understanding of Financial Services products and services.
• Previous experience driving the strategy and execution of technology projects (technology platforms & analytics).
• Experience with evaluating, designing, and enhancing applications and tools to meet the technology needs of the business.
• Effectively packages and communicates complex content and information.
• Can effectively navigate and deliver results in highly matrixed environment.
• Critical thinker with the ability to influence and communicate technology needs, gaps and solutions.
• Business knowledge of risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong personal drive, individual initiative, a sense of urgency, and responsiveness, with a desire to grow, learn, and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
• Advanced understanding of issue management processes.
