  • Masters/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in micro-architecture definition and development across GPUs, CPUs or accelerator products
  • Strong background in computer architecture and micro-architecture fundamentals
  • Experience working on Power, Performance and Area (PPA) analysis and trade-offs
  • Comfortable with developing new and PPA optimized datapath and control RTL blocks
  • Exposure to micro-architecture evaluation methodologies via synthesis and power analysis EDA tools
  • Accelerator development experience is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Translate high level architecture spec to micro-architecture feature requirements
  • Develop RTL, validate functionality and perform synthesis for new micro-architectural features
  • Enable turn-key PPA trade-off analysis methodologies to ground new architectural features
  • Generate initial micro-architecture spec supported by feasibility studies
  • Develop targeted power tests for existing and new architecture and extract power efficiency features
  • Engage with design teams via regular reviews and enable seamless handoff for further execution
