Requirements
  • Experience working with autism, aggressive behaviors, and challenging home environments.
  • Ability to provide personal transportation to clients' homes and the office.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible Monday-to-Friday schedule, with anticipated hours of 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Experience working with children and families in a home setting is preferred.
  • Ability to remain professional in challenging environments.
  • Successful completion of a Fingerprint Clearance Card check.
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent and at least one year of behavioral health or related work experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of behavioral health or related work experience.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis is preferred.
  • Experience working in the behavioral health system is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel valley-wide.
Responsibilities
  • Administer behavioral intervention and skill-teaching strategies consistent with each child's behavior intervention plan.
  • Work with a clinical team to train caregivers to implement behavior intervention strategies.
  • Perform data collection, progress reporting, daily activity notes, and general record keeping for services delivered.
  • Participate in initial and ongoing training or shadowing from supervisors, parents, and therapy team members, including demonstrating current programs.
  • Provide input to supervisory staff in program development, including identifying strengths and needs and participating in team meetings.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate with parents and families in a manner that emphasizes family-centered services.
  • Train staff in schools, hospitals, and residential facilities.
  • Participate in community education programs and workshops.
