NiCE reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $782 million, up 8% year over year, and adjusted earnings per share of $2.70, exceeding guidance. Cloud revenue rose 12.6% to $609 million, representing 78% of total revenue. AI and customer experience annual recurring revenue climbed 52% to $362 million. The company recorded quarterly records for cloud annual contract value bookings and AI bookings. Cloud backlog grew 19% year over year, whilst AI backlog increased 72%. Major wins included a nine-digit total contract value deal with HMRC and a contract with a US healthcare organisation. NiCE maintained its 2026 revenue guidance of $3.17 billion to $3.19 billion but raised its adjusted EPS forecast to $11.06-$11.26.
Nice beats expectations but profitability pressure mounts in AI transition. The Israeli software company posted higher-than-expected revenue, but declining margins and rising AI competition continue to weigh on investors. 13:25, 05.08.26 Nice beat analysts' expectations in its second-quarter 2026 results, reporting revenue of $782 million, an 8% increase compared with the same quarter last year, and adjusted earnings of $2.70 per share. Analysts had expected revenue of $770 million and earnings of $2.65 per share. However, the Israeli customer experience software company's profitability continued to deteriorate, extending a trend that became apparent in the first quarter as the company pursued an aggressive deal-closing strategy. Gross profit margin declined to 64% of revenue, compared with 66.8% in the corresponding quarter last year. The decline contributed to lower operating profit, which fell to $104 million, while operating margin dropped from 22% a year ago to 13% in the current quarter. Nice ended the quarter with GAAP net income of $83 million, representing a decline of more than 50% compared with the same period last year. Earnings per share remained in line with expectations, partly due to Nice's ongoing share buyback program, which reduces the number of outstanding shares and helps offset the impact of lower net income. Excluding one-time and accounting-related items, Nice reported non-GAAP net income of $160 million, compared with $190 million in the second quarter of 2025. Against the backdrop of a market facing growing competition from emerging AI-focused solutions, Nice issued a cautious forecast for the third quarter. The company expects revenue of $780 million-$790 million and earnings of $2.73-$2.83 per share. At the same time, Nice reiterated its full-year guidance, forecasting 2026 revenue of approximately $3.2 billion and earnings per share of $11.06-$11.26. "We executed well in the second quarter, delivering revenue above the high-end of our guidance range and reaching the high-end of our non-GAAP EPS range," said Scott Russell, CEO of Nice. "Underlying demand trends across our business continued to gain momentum during the second quarter as organizations increasingly consolidate their customer engagement needs on our AI-native CXone platform. This drove a record second quarter for new cloud ACV bookings, including an all-time record quarter for AI bookings with strong momentum at NiCE Cognigy. AI continues to become a more meaningful contributor to our business, with AI ARR reaching $362 million and now representing 15% of our cloud revenue. We are still in the early stages of a much broader AI adoption cycle across our customer base." Nice's share price has declined 32% over the past 12 months, reflecting investor concerns over slowing profitability and intensifying competition in the AI era. Since the beginning of 2026, however, the stock has recovered somewhat, narrowing its year-to-date decline to 8%. The company currently has a market capitalization of approximately $6 billion.
NiCE has launched NiCE Witness, an AI governance solution designed to create an independent record of AI activity and human decisions across emergency response operations. The platform tracks AI-assisted decisions from initial emergency calls through dispatch, response, and final review, providing cross-vendor transparency for public safety agencies. The solution works alongside NiCE's existing Inform and Inform AI products to help agencies reconstruct incidents, evaluate performance against policies and benchmarks, and maintain auditable records. NiCE says the platform addresses growing challenges around staffing pressures, rapid AI adoption, and scrutiny of automated decisions in public safety. The company introduced NiCE Witness at APCO 2026, positioning it as essential infrastructure as AI expands into call triage, language translation, dispatch, threat assessment, and report generation within emergency services.

Twilio offers developer tools for building messaging, voice, and email capabilities. Its fiscal year 2025 revenue grew 14% to nearly $5.1 billion. The company turned profitable with net income of approximately $33.8 million and a 0.7% net margin. July 14, 2026 - 3:36 PM Font size: -A+A Photo: Disclosure Banco do Brasil has adopted NiCE Copilot for agents, a generative AI solution from the brand, implemented by NiCE itself in partnership with A5 Solutions, a São Paulo-based company specialized in customer service and business communication solutions. Still in the pilot phase, the solution was deployed on the CXone interface, NiCE's platform focused on contact centers and customer experience, for Banco do Brasil relationship managers and assistants. According to the bank, the goal is to integrate artificial intelligence into the daily routine of its employees in order to evolve its service model, as well as make its operations more integrated, agile, and data-driven. The new solution brings together, in a single environment, essential information for service and automates operational tasks, such as generating interaction summaries, accessing contact history, and identifying customer sentiment. With this, data becomes structured and standardized, reducing the need for manual entries and increasing visibility into interactions, offers made, and acceptances. Beyond automation, NiCE's solution offers real-time support with contextual access to customer information, contributing to more fluid and personalized service. BB is already seeing operational gains from the project, such as greater standardization of interactions, reduced rework, and better organization of information.
