We are seeking a skilled Front End React Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can drive their work from conception to deployment with minimal supervision. This role requires a developer who is not only proficient in React but also passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and delivering exceptional experiences to help end-users make effective use of large data sets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.
• Collaborate with product and UX designers to implement innovative solutions for our clients.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code, including writing comprehensive unit tests.
• Participate in Bitbucket code reviews to provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in front end development.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and workflows.
• Drive projects from initial concept through to deployment and beyond, ensuring project milestones are met on time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in front end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• Experience with React.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with modern front end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Nx, Babel, NPM).
• Experience with Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently in an agile environment and take ownership of projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with SCSS.
• Bonus points for Angular experience.
• Familiarity with Docker and AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and specifically Travis CI or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Enzyme.
• Knowledge of front end performance optimization techniques.
